Focus on Nightlife is all about the nightlife industry from a management perspective. It covers interesting news in the industry, profiles of industry leaders, tips and techniques, and useful resources — with a focus on things of interest to managers and owners.

I’m your host, Eugene Mallay. I’ve been around the nightlife / hospitality industry in roles from general management to ownership for over 20 years. This is a great industry to be in — while it is brutally competitive, there are tremendous business opportunities for those who know how to exploit them. It’s a fun place to be, too: it’s never boring (that’s for sure…), feedback on how you are doing is quick and unmistakable, and there are an endless number of ways to make a difference.
